Where is sublingual immunotherapy given?

Due to the possibility of a severe allergic reaction, the first dose of sublingual immunotherapy must be given in our clinic with a 30-minute wait. All other doses may be given at home. Although a severe allergic reaction is rare after the first dose, you are required to have an epinephrine auto-injector in case of a severe allergic reaction to the allergy tablet.
